We are co-hosting a playgroup every Friday at 10am. We are at a different location every week, so keep a lookout on our social media for more information (@ctrportlandkids)! Any and everyone is welcome with their children. It has been a joy to fellowship with parents from CTR and also meet other parents from the greater Portland area!

Come celebrate the start of a new season of ministry with us! We’ll be kicking off Community Groups, Christian Formation Classes for adults and children, a fall Inquirer’s Class and CTRKids ministry.

After the service, stay for a church-wide potluck—if your last name ends in A–H, bring a side dish; if it ends in I–Z, bring a dessert. Don’t forget your lawn chairs or picnic blankets! Kids will enjoy a bounce house and plenty of fun activities. It’s going to be a joyful time of fellowship and celebration—you won’t want to miss it!

September 7- November 9, 2025 Adult Class-- Knowing God: Intro to Theology (Fall 2025- Class for Adults & Teens) You don’t need a seminary degree to study theology—just a willingness to know God better. This class is for ordinary Christians who want their faith to be deep, steady, and joy-filled. We’ll walk through the core tenants of the Christian faith — God’s character, his Word, his purposes, his promises, and his saving work through Jesus Christ. Together we'll see how these truths transform our hopes, desires, and choices. Whether you’re a lifelong Christian, new to church, or curious about the foundations of the faith, you’ll find this class a place to grow in knowledge, joy, confidence, and devotion as we study together. Classes for kids: RAM ISLAND CLASS– [Potty-Trained – PreK] BUGLIGHT CLASS - [K – 1st GRADE] TWO LIGHTS CLASS– [2nd – 4th GRADE] HEADLIGHT CLASS – [5th GRADE +]

This is a great opportunity to hear about our heart and our history as a church, to interact with our leaders and staff, to meet other newcomers, and to ask your questions about what we do and why we do it. There's no obligation to join CTR if you come to the class. However, if you would like to become a member, the Inquirers’ Class is a prerequisite.
